TECHNISURE ON-SITE is a simple and safe way to back up important information on your business computer in case of unforeseen disaster.
Typically each night* TECHNISURE ON-SITE will access your nominated hard drive to copy selected folders to another hard-drive located on the same network - automatically. Day and night you can then rest assured in the knowledge that your key working files such as emails and important business files etc are residing on at least two computer hard-drives should failure or any disastrous event hit either one of them.

Backup can occur at any regular interval but typically this is daily and outside usual business hours in order to capture all data entered during that business day. To allow the back up to occur all you need to do is leave your network open at the end of the day and then at the agreed "scheduled" time of back up the selected files will be automatically copied across.

After completing any transfer TECHNISURE can close the connection and shut down your computer remotely to ease any concerns about leaving your network open.

TECHNISURE backs up nominated folders, rather than a complete machine or applications. Users typically save important documents to a common folder to ensure key data is duplicated. It is important to note however that a TECHNISURE backup is not an open access retrieval service, nor should it fully replace any backup procedures you may already have in place.

TECHNISURE ON-SITE provides an extremely cost effective solution to ensure your key business data is kept more robust by keeping it on multiple hard drives. Each day your latest files are automatically backed up to your selected hard drive.

Backed up data (the latest version of each of your nominated files) is available by contacting the Technicare help desk.
As TECHNISURE codes data as it stores it, external intervention is required to unlock and retrieve nominated files. A small fixed fee is charged for this retrieval service.

An external hard drive is available to purchase MORE>
Not all PC/Servers will be set up or have the capacity to allow this PC to PC solution
Where this is the case you will need to have a stand alone external hard drive installed. The 250GB 2.5" USB external hard drive is available for this purpose at $189.00 plus GST. (This will be couriered to you and is a simple plug in task – we will do the rest once the hard drive is plugged in, powered up and you advise us that you have done this).

Your monthly fee is $6.95+GST per PC except for Technicare Premium where it is provided as a free service.
Note that you will not pay an additional monthly backup charge for the use of the Maxtor USB external hard drive. A one off purchase price applies.
Due to the method of storage - file retrieval requires external intervention to unlock the data, you cannot access the backup files directly yourself.

Minimum Requirements
You must have ONE of the following:
1. Spare PC/SERVER hard drive with capacity of equal size or greater to the nominated folder being duplicated (Max 80GB).
2. A stand alone external drive for the key purpose of backups.
3. Purchase of the 250GB 2.5" USB external hard drive drive from Technicare for this purpose.
